The PGA and LPGA's top money winners
Although Fiji’s Vijay Singh officially took home the title of top money winner on the PGA Tour last year, it is Tiger Woods who once again dominates Canadian Business Online’s annual ranking of golf’s top earners. Despite missing most of the year to a knee injury, Woods incredibly led the field in nearly every key category on our charts.
On the women’s side, Lorena Ochoa easily remained on her perch as the LPGA’s top money-earning machine. The native of Mexico won nearly $1 million more than the runner-up, Paula Creamer of the U.S., and led in everything from winnings per event to dollars per birdie.
How to use the tables
Our Golf Money List lets you compare money and performance statistics for 355 PGA and LPGA players. Players are ranked by total tour winnings, but we also provide their earnings by event, round and some key performance stats. Besides the standard performance figures — rounds, strokes, putts, birdies and eagles — we’ve also calculated putts, birdies and eagles per round to ensure an easier and fairer comparison between players, irrespective of how often or little they played.
